2011 CHURCH SOCCER BALL DONATION PROJECT
The goal of this project is to donate 2 J316 Gospel Presentation soccer balls to churches in the wake of the the 2010 Soccer World Cup, and in the build-up to the 2011 All Africa Games in Maputo.
The balls will be donated by churches and individuals at a cost of R70 each, which includes postage within South Africa and Mozambique.
Each church benefitting from this project would qualify by having at least one of their members trained in the The Ultimate Goal
J316 Gospel soccer balls are good quality hand stitched balls with a pattern comprising the colours used to communicate the Gospel message e.g. black for sin, red for the shed blood of Jesus, white for the Holy Spirit and green for spiritual growth.
Each person playing with the ball will receive an explanation of the Gospel with the aid of the colours on the ball.
SYSTEM
A data base has been built up of churches from those involved in the TUG 1 Day seminar programmes and those already involved within the SMPSA partnership.
We will invite churches and individuals to contribute by completing a Donar Form. You may also choose to purchase balls for your own use, also at R70 including postage within South Africa.
